Updated Adobe Creative Cloud offerings starting June 1, 2024
Due to continued price increases and licensing restrictions, GTS will no longer be able to offer Adobe Creative Cloud to Gustavus employees via our employee Virtual Lab environment starting on June 1, 2024. Employees who have been accessing the Creative Cloud tools via the virtual lab environment will need to work with GTS on a new solution which may include using department funds to purchase a user license of Adobe Creative Cloud. Please contact GTS for pricing information and other questions. Students will still have the ability to access the Creative Cloud suite via Virtual Lab.
Adobe Acrobat Professional 2020 End of Life in June 2025
For employees on campus who have purchased a license of Adobe Acrobat Professional 2020, this is a notice that this product is being deprecated by Adobe and will be end of life as of June of 2025. After June of 2025, GTS will no longer be able to install this application on any new machines, and may need to take steps to remove it from machines where it is currently installed. Employees who currently use this product are encouraged to work with GTS on an alternate solution which may include using department funds to purchase the annual subscription-based license of Adobe Acrobat Professional. Adobe Creative Cloud (named user) renewal coming up!
For employees that currently subscribe to a named user license of Adobe Creative Cloud, renewal is coming up! GTS will be sending an email with the renewal price. Respond to the message to communicate your preference for renewing your license. Those who do not respond will automatically have their license renewed and your department will be charged. Subscriptions cannot be canceled once the renewal process has completed, however, they can be transferred to another employee.
