Before coming to Gustavus, one of the best things you can do for your computer is to run software updates and make sure your antivirus is up to date. This will make registration on our network faster and easier.

Once you have your Apple computer up to date, you are ready to connect to our network and register your computer.
Updating/Installing Antivirus
For Windows computers, there is one more step to make sure everything goes smoothly – updating your antivirus software.
Helpful hint: Having more than one antivirus product on your computer at a time will cause your computer to run slow and erratic. Before installing a new antivirus product, please make sure you uninstall the old one.
On Windows 8, you can use the built-in program called Windows Defender.
