Self Service Password Reset Posted on October 8th, 2009 by

Have you ever forgot your Gustavus e-mail password? Did you have it saved in your web browser and all of a sudden, it’s not there? It may not be a problem now, however if you follow the steps below you will be covered.

In our ongoing efforts to better serve you, we have created a tool for you to reset your password yourself.

To prepare:

  1. Visit the GTS tools page.
  2. Login with your Gustavus username and password.
  3. Click on Alternate e-mail.
  4. Enter an alternate e-mail address that you check regularly.
  5. Click Submit.

If you forgot your password:

  1. Please visit https://gts.gac.edu/gts/passwordreset
  2. Type in your Gustavus username.
  3. You will receive an e-mail at your alternate e-mail address you had set up. If you had not previously set up an alternate e-mail address, this process will not work for you. You would need to contact the Technology Helpline during regular business hours. Prepare to be asked for details such as Gustavus ID, etc.. for security purposes if calling the Helpline. Please bring photo ID such as your Gustavus 3 Crowns card if stopping by the Technology Helpline.
  4. To reset your password, follow the e-mail’s directions.
