Introducing the Online Sound Library

Over the past couple of years, we have been working with the Folke Bernadotte Memorial Library to digitize their sound library and present it on the web in an easy-to-use way. Yesterday, this enormous project was completed. The entire sound library has been digitized and all of the liner notes have been scanned.

The SciFinder web version is now available. The client version installed on the lab computers will no longer function after April 10th, 2009. The web version of SciFinder can be found at http://gustavus.edu/academics/library/other-databases.html

New Library Group Study Rooms

On the first floor of the Library, room 102 and 106 are now home to Hector and Helen. Both rooms have a 32″ flat screen monitor, a Mac mini, two keyboards, and two mice that can be used for Group Projects. There is also a connection for a laptop so it can be connected to…
