I am about to switch to a new machine and am working on consolidating all of my data that I need to move. So I got to thinking that it would be nice to have a list of all the Firefox extensions that I use to help me with the switch. Then I was thinking that it might be a good reference for other people. So here it is, my list of Firefox extensions:
Media Player Connectivity – Sometimes works… identifies media links in embedded flash media so you can view it another program or save it G-Mail Notifier – Notifies you when you have new g-mail
For my Gmail, I just use the Gmail notifier that Google offers. Although it is a separate program, you don’t need to be running Firefox to have it notify you. Does the extension offer any advantages other than not being a separate program and cross-platform?
View Rendered Source – This is pretty sweet. It’s basically just a souped up version of Firefox’s view source. It seems like it’d be easier to spot div problems this way.
