Gustavus GSuite applications (GusMail, GDrive,GCalendar) prevent sign-in attempts from external applications that do not use modern security standards. Examples of these applications include:
- Desktop mail applications such as Mozilla Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook
- The Mail app on your iPhone or iPad with version 6 or below
- The Mail app on your Windows phone preceding the 8.1 release
Gustavus does not support using a 3rd party mail clients with GusMail. We recommend using the web interface (gusmail.gustavus.edu) or the Gmail app.
