The Core Services team updated our version of Moodle to version 2.9 and with it comes some GREAT enhancements!! Thank you to Paul and the rest of the team for their hard work on this upgrade 🙂 As an added bonus: Fall courses are imported and ready!

Moodle Navigation
- The ‘My Home’ is now renamed to ‘Dashboard’
- New Profiles Page – click your name in the upper right, select Profile
- New Grades Page – click your name in the upper right, select Grades
- New Preferences Page – click your name in the upper right, select Preferences
- Improved Messaging – click your name in the upper right, select Messages
Quizzes
- Section Headers – each page in quiz can have a different name
- Shuffle Questions with the click of a button
- Conditional Questions – must answer one question before they can see the next
- Printer friendly layout
Lessons
- Support for groups
- Overrides and extensions for individuals or groups
- Extra events added
- Require time spent on a lesson as a completion condition
