We recently overhauled the mechanism that employees use to update their professional profiles, making them more powerful and easier to use.
The biggest improvement is a shift away from the traditional and clunky form to an intuitive edit-in-place motif. This allows people to edit portions of their profiles without needing to fill out a big and complex form on a different page. We hope that this will enable people to easily make updates to their profiles during more casual browsing.
We also transitioned the curriculum vitae upload box into a more general attachments area. This opens up the possibility for people to include notable published articles, among other things.
Finally, we are now populating the courses taught section with more comprehensive data. This should allow us to offer a more complete perspective of each faculty member. Clicking on a course title allows you to browse others who have taught or are teaching that course.
