Rebooting Solen

Although solen has been workin great for the past 180+ days, it looks like we have no choice but to reboot it. If you are wondering why, the reason is that netatalk has stoped working. Restarting the netatalk daemon does not appear to fix it. For some reason the afpd process just gets stuck. Hopefully a reboot will fix it. So tonight at 10:00pm we will reboot solen. If all goes well, it should be back up and running ~10 minutes later. In the mean time nobody can log into the Macs in the labs on campus. If you really need to us a Mac, you can log in as a guest, then get to your home directory via smb://solen.gac.edu.
