Shorter is Still Better

In our eternal quest to optimize the Gustavus website, we removed the “academics” part of URLs. Naturally, this change primarily affects academic departments. For instance, websites such as the Physics department now reside at http://gustavus.edu/physics/ instead of http://gustavus.edu/academics/physics/–that’s about 25% shorter!

As always, the old, longer URLs will still function as redirects to the new shorter URLs. We hope this change will make things a little bit snappier for everyone.
