Technology Requests for 2022-2023 for Faculty and Staff Posted on January 31st, 2022 by

Gustavus Technology Services would like to invite all faculty and staff to make technology requests for the upcoming 2022-2023 fiscal year. The approved requests will be delivered after June 1, 2022 (depending on industry and supply chain constraints). All decisions regarding the requests will be communicated after the College budget approval process for fiscal year 2022-2023 has been finalized.

As always, if you are experiencing an issue with your computer that is currently affecting your daily work, please contact the Technology Helpline as soon as possible (helpline@gustavus.edu or 507-933-6111).

To make a technology request for the 2022-2023 fiscal year, please complete the 2022-2023 Technology Request Form. We ask that you submit your Technology Request form by March 4th, 2022.  If you are responsible for additional computers (student workstations, department workstations), please take a moment and check the age of each device. This form can be used to request an upgrade for an existing workstation, or to request a new workstation. Below are some guidelines for when you should request new hardware. Plan to complete and submit a separate request for each computer. 

  • For employee computers, on average, we recommend anything older than 4 years should be replaced.
  • For student workstations, on average, we recommend anything older than 6 years should be replaced.
