On Sunday, April 25, Zoom will be enabling the new Zoom Phone capability for the Zoom GSuite add-on. This systemwide activation will necessitate that Zoom users reauthorize the GSuite add-on, and you will be prompted to take this action the next time you use Google Calendar to schedule a Zoom meeting. This reauthorization allows Zoom to provide Zoom Phone subscribers access to their organization’s directory. Since Gustavus is not currently subscribed to this feature, no additional access will be given to Zoom, but Gustavus Zoom users will still need to approve the updated GSuite add-on to continue scheduling Zoom meetings through Google Calendar. If you attempt to schedule a Zoom meeting through Google Calendar on or after April 25 and you receive the reauthorization prompt, you must approve the request in order to continue using Google Calendar for scheduling Zoom meetings.
